Unlike the traditional kuehs, small and round in shape, wrapped with sweet fillings in it. Kueh_Ho_Jiak's Kuehs are made of a variety of vibrant colours, as shown in the picture above.

The kueh's skin colour is derive from five different types of sweet potatoes, which is freshly prepared by Chef Sandy Hannah Tan (@sandytanpp)

The skin of these kuehs are not as thick and chewy as the traditional types, in fact is soft and tender. The fillings inside these kuehs are not as sweet as the traditional ones, a much healthier choice.

The kuehs are scrumptious and very attractive.

Other than their vibrant colours, each different flavours have an unique shape as shown above which makes them aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.

Kueh Bingka (Baked Tapioca) - $1.20

A super delicious and affordable traditional cake that is semi-soft and fragrant.

Peanut - $1.20

Grounded Peanuts fillings kueh taking resemblance to a fish

Red Bean (with orange peel) - $1.20

The typical Red Bean kueh in fuse with Orange peel to enhance it's taste, taking the resemblance of a bear.

Mung Bean - $1.20

Taking resemblance to a Rose, is the Mung Bean Kueh.

Peanut Corn - $1.60

Coconut (Gula Melaka) - $1.20

A typial Nonya flavour, with an aromatic Coconut scent.

Here are my three favourites which I think is worth my stomach space:

1. Red Bean (with orange peel) - $1.20

The traditional Ang Ku Kueh with Red Bean fillings is still one of my favourites. With the fusion of orange peels, it brings out an exciting yet familiar traditional taste.

2. Mung Bean - $1.20

Mung Bean Kueh is not only visually appealing, it has also many health benefits such as having high antioxidants level and being a good source of protein.

3. Hae Bee Hiam - $1.60

One of more exotic and interesting flavour that I think is worth trying. It was said to be one of the best selling kueh out of the variety they have. This is perfect for individuals who like to spice up their taste.
